LSS2040 - Introduction to Voice Overs and the Recording Studio - $158.00
IN SESSION ONE, you'll learn how to get your studio arranged, which tools you will need and do a practice recording. You'll listen carefully to some vocal techniques and reading styles in Ed's voice samples for product commercials. Then compare them to the program promos and movie trailers. Each style has a different attitude and approach. From voice-overs to movie trailers, the pacing and styles are different. Learn to recognize this when listening to radio, TV or at the movies. This is your territory now.
IN SESSION TWO, you'll learn all about the recording studio, equipment, how to pace yourself, voice inflections, keywords for emphasis. They you'll practice placing break marks for your particular breathing and reading style. You'll try different placements and practice commercials until you’re comfortable with the results.

LSS2041 - Recording a Script and Developing a Technique - $158.00
RECORDING A SCRIPT - In this session, you'll read and interpret copy by answering the questions: WHO... WHAT… WHERE… WHEN… HOW whenever applicable. You'll practice various scripts working on timing until you'll start to understand the various styles and techniques of advertising, and begin to develop your ability to shape your reading styles.
DEVELOPING TECHNIQUE AND STYLE- While developing range and technique is critical to your growth and success, it's equally important to become acutely aware of the limitations of your particular instrument in terms of level and forcefulness. In this session, you learn how to stay within the range you're comfortable with, to maintain the consistency of your delivery.

LSS2042 - Finding Your Voice and Shaping it into a Unique Instrument - $158.00
SESSION ONE - As a rule, you were chosen—or are being auditioned— because you fit a profile envisioned by the project creative team. Your job is to realize their vision by assuming a role, even in a factual 'announcement' script. Your role in the performance will define and refine your voice. In this session, you'll find your voice.
In SESSION TWO, you'll begin to develop distinctive sound more from competence than any other factor. Your signature sound (or voice) will emerge as you practice and develop your skill set.

LSS 2043 - Marketing Yourself for Success and Producing Your Demo CD - $158.00
IN THIS SESSION, you'll create a brief, focused presentation of your capability to the industry by exposure to agents, ad agencies, broadcasters and production firms. You'll present your performances in professionally produced demo spots, promos and long narration pieces, so you sound like the real thing. You experience the studio production process end to end, working with a recording engineer reading, slating, picking 'takes', observing the mixing in of sound effects and music, as in a 'real' spot.)
IN THIS SESSION, you'll learn about and practice for the auditioning process utilitizing numerous scripts. As you read the scripts, you’ll see various formats being used because every ad agency has its own particular style.
